leader M.Y. Tarigami gave this information.
BJP was hesitant in holding elections
Tarigami claimed that it seems clear that the Union Territory administration has decided to hold the urban local
body elections and panchayat elections after the 2024 lok sabha elections. The local body elections were
originally scheduled to be held later this year. He said, On one hand it (BJP) is making noises about restoration of
normalcy and peace, but on the other hand, it is also refusing to hold local elections. She is hesitating.
Tarigami said that in the meeting to be held on tuesday, the meeting of opposition leaders under the leadership of
National Conference President farooq abdullah is going to be held in a hotel in Jammu on Tuesday. People's
Democratic party (PDP) President mehbooba mufti will also attend the meeting.
There will be discussion on politics of Jammu and Kashmir
Tarigami said, Opposition parties are coming together at the national level. Therefore, the time has come for us
also to sit with each other and discuss the emerging situation (in Jammu and Kashmir). Bring uniformity in your
approach to counter the policies being imposed on us without our consent.Communist party (CPI-M) leader M.Y.
Tarigami said that all the parties invited to the meeting to be held on tuesday have confirmed their participation.
It was told that in this meeting the rising inflation, corruption and unemployment in the state will be discussed in
