How Israel - Hamas War can have deep impact on India's Petrol, Diesel prices

Even though the Palestine-based organization Hamas committed a surprise terror strike, india has demonstrated its unwavering support for Israel. However, if the situation worsens and the battle between the two nations continues, the indian economy is likely to suffer severely. In an attempt to break the military group's embargo in the conflict region, israel is bombing Gaza in retaliation for the Hamas terror assaults. However, the nation's economy is being severely impacted by the stringent defensive measures, which are affecting commerce and business.

In the middle of the Israel-Hamas conflict, india is once again facing worries about a jump in gas and diesel prices, according to Finance minister Nirmala Sitharama on Friday. The FM mentioned the unpredictability of the global fuel market and made a suggestion that prices will increase shortly. This is all the information you need to know about the potential increase in gas prices in india and how it will affect the nation's total inflation rate because it doesn't appear that the Israeli defense forces' operation will end very soon.

In an interview with NDTV, Gita Gopinath, the first deputy managing director of the international Monetary Fund (IMF), warned that escalating the violence in israel might have a significant effect on global oil prices, inflation, and the global gross domestic product. Experts are cautioning traders against investing in indian oil and ONGC shares in the upcoming days due to an anticipated exponential increase in fuel costs, as crude oil prices are already rising. In the event that the israel dispute is not resolved, a ten percent increase in prices is anticipated.

Gopinath further stated that a ten percent increase in oil prices is expected to result in a 0.15 percentage point decline in global GDP and a 0.4 percentage point increase in inflation. This implies that both the united states and Europe's inflation-stricken nations will face severe difficulties. India's economy might suffer greatly as a result of the rising cost of oil and the short-term effects on the import and export of goods from Israel. This could result in an increase in the cost of essential commodities in India.

Over 3700 people have died as a result of the Israel-Hamas conflict, which began on sunday and is now in its ninth day. Given that an on-ground military assault by the IDF is anticipated shortly, israel has requested that residents of Gaza move to other areas of the conflict zone.
