The agreement was signed in the presence of Rajiv chandrasekhar, Union minister of State for Electronics and Information technology, who is actively focusing on India's digitization drive and steps to improve electronics and semiconductor manufacturing in the country. Earlier this year, ibm announced 8 more contracts with the indian government to provide courses designed to prepare individuals for emerging technology. The MoUs were signed on 27th september last with the Ministries of Education, Skill Development and Entrepreneurship.
