The agreement was signed in the presence of Rajiv chandrasekhar, Union minister of State for Electronics and Information technology, who is actively focusing on India's digitization drive and steps to improve electronics and semiconductor manufacturing in the country. Highlighting the importance of this collaboration, Union minister Rajeev chandrasekhar said, “This is certainly a very important day as these three technologies will shape the future of technology and innovation in the coming years and represent huge opportunities for the education, start-up and innovation ecosystem. It is a vast opportunity to develop global talent.” He said. minister Rajeev chandrasekhar stressed that these agreements are important as semiconductors, artificial intelligence (AI) and quantum computing are technologies that will shape the future of innovation and innovation.
Earlier this year, ibm announced 8 more contracts with the indian government to provide courses designed to prepare individuals for emerging technology. The MoUs were signed on 27th september last with the Ministries of Education, Skill Development and Entrepreneurship. Union minister Dharmendra Pradhan presided over the signing of MoUs. ibm CEO arvind krishna had said last april that he would freeze jobs for jobs that could be done by artificial intelligence (AI) in the coming years.
