MP Election 2023: 81 percent MLAs in MP are millionaires

Before the assembly elections in madhya pradesh, the reports of Association for Democratic Reforms and

Madhya Pradesh election watch (ADR) have made shocking revelations. According to the report, out of 230

MLAs of madhya pradesh, 81 percent (183) MLAs are crorepatis. Of these, names of 107 bjp MLAs are

included, while 76 congress MLAs are crorepatis. Whereas criminal cases are registered against 40 percent

MLAs. These figures have been released as per the oath of the MLAs.

Association for Democratic Reforms and madhya pradesh election watch (ADR) have analyzed the

financial, criminal, teacher, gender and other details declared on the basis of the affidavit submitted by the

230 MLAs of madhya pradesh who won the 2018 elections and by-elections. According to the report, 40

percent MLAs of the state have crimes registered against them. These include 39 MLAs from bjp, while 52

MLAs are from Congress. If we talk about rich MLAs, out of 230 MLAs of the state, 81 percent are

crorepatis. These include 107 MLAs from bjp while 76 MLAs from Congress. According to the affidavit

submitted by these MLAs, 33 percent of the MLAs have completed schooling.

Crorepati top-10 MLA

The first name among the millionaire top-10 MLAs in the state is Sanjay Satendra Pathak from Vijay

Raghavgarh seat of Katni district, Chetanya Kashyap from Ratlam City, Sanjay Shukla from Indore-1,

Sanjay Sharma from Tendukheda, Nilay Vinod Daga from Betul, Shivpuri mla KP Singh, vishal Jagdish

Patel from Depalpur, Sehore mla Sudesh Rai and mla Divyaraj Singh from Sirmore seat of Rewa are

included.

10 MLAs with less assets

MLA ram Dangore from Pandhana seat of Khandwa district, usha Thakur from Mhow, Sharad from

Shahdol, Manoj Chawla from Alot seat of Ratlam, Dr. Hiralal Alava from Manawar, Sitaram from Vijaypur

seat of Sheopur, Kalpana Verma from Regaon seat of Satna, Sironj. Umakant Sharma from Agar Malwa,

Vipin Wankhede from Agar Malwa and Prahlad Lodhi from Pawai seat of Panna. ADR report: When the

media asked questions from congress national spokesperson Ragini nayak in this regard, she said that it

should be seen in the criminal record who has a criminal background. It is important to differentiate between

background and criminal cases. There should be no entry of criminals in congress politics.
