The richest independent candidate on this seat rebelled against Congress
Voting is to be held on 7 november for 12 assembly seats of Bastar division of Chhattisgarh. All the candidates

about Rs 2 crore 3 lakh in the affidavit. Apart from this, congress candidate Jatin jaiswal from Jagdalpur
assembly has shown assets worth Rs 16 crore 15 lakh, bjp candidate kiran Dev has shown assets worth Rs 2.5
crore and Lakheshwar Baghel, congress candidate from Bastar assembly seat, has shown assets worth Rs 8
crore 15 lakh.

bungalow, vehicles and also his wife's assets. The second richest candidate is Jatin Jaiswal. Jatin jaiswal has
shown assets worth Rs 16 crore 15 lakh, while the third richest candidate is Lakheshwar Baghel, Congress
candidate from Bastar assembly, who has given information about assets worth Rs 8 crore 15 lakh. Lakheshwar
Baghel has been contesting from this assembly seat for the last two consecutive times. Have been winning
elections. Apart from this, at fourth position is kiran Dev, the candidate from Jagdalpur assembly seat who has
shown assets worth Rs 2.5 crore.
