Ending terrorism in Jammu and Kashmir: DGP informs!?
DGP dilbagh singh has said that terrorism is almost over in Jammu and Kashmir. DGP dilbagh singh said that it was 110 in the previous year. He appealed to the youth to give up violence and return to a normal lifestyle.DGP dilbagh singh met the media after having darshan of Swami at Mata Bhatrakali temple in Handwara of Kupwara district. Speaking then, he said, "Terrorism is almost over in kashmir - SRINAGAR/JAMMU' target='_blank' title='jammu and kashmir-Latest Updates, Photos, Videos are a click away, CLICK NOW">jammu and kashmir and its vestiges will be eradicated soon."Continuing, he said, “This year only 10 local youths have joined the terrorist organization. Last year, the number was 110. Six out of 10 people who joined the terrorist organization have been killed this year. The remaining 4 will be killed soon. How good it would be if these people do not join terrorist organizations.” He said.
DGP dilbagh singh said that terrorists also have families and such killings do not make security forces happy. He also appealed to them to come back from the way of violence. He informed that there has been a great change in the situation in kashmir - SRINAGAR/JAMMU' target='_blank' title='jammu and kashmir-Latest Updates, Photos, Videos are a click away, CLICK NOW">jammu and kashmir in the last five years, he said, “Terrorism which hit the whole of kashmir - SRINAGAR/JAMMU' target='_blank' title='jammu and kashmir-Latest Updates, Photos, Videos are a click away, CLICK NOW">jammu and kashmir like a disaster is almost over and the remaining vestiges will be removed soon. The atmosphere of fear is over. people of all ages can move freely. Today, peace and happiness have returned.” He said.
“North kashmir is almost free from terrorism. There are no active terrorists there. There are some terrorists who engage in some activities from time to time. They also keep moving from one place to another. Soon they too will be removed.” DGP dilbagh singh also said.
