Onion prices skyrocket in Telangana Hyderabad due to supply-demand mismatch
Tomato prices surged in hyderabad a few months ago. Tomatoes cost up to Rs. 200 per kilogram in July since telangana had a lot of rain. But within a few weeks, they decreased as a result of a sharp decline in sales quantities. Hyderabadians at the time were concentrating on other veggies and were not purchasing tomatoes. It's unclear how the public would react to the increase in costs in hyderabad as onion prices aren't predicted to drop until late November.
The common vegetable was reasonably priced at around Rs 22 to Rs 25 per kilogram when it was first made accessible to customers just two weeks ago. Household budgets are being squeezed as purchasers are paying about Rs 50 per kilogram these days. They are priced at Rs 53 in stores and Rs 55 on grocery delivery apps.
