It is welcome. However, this alone is not enough. This was also promised in DMK's election manifesto. However, this promise has not been fulfilled even after more than 30 months of the DMK government taking charge.

More than 60,000 people who passed the qualifying examination across tamil Nadu have not been given jobs for a maximum of 10 years. If they have to write a competitive exam and join the job, they have to spend lakhs of rupees to get the training. Thus the competitive nature of the exam makes teaching jobs available only to rich and urban students.
