MLA roamed without shoes in protest against own government
Political parties are busy in selecting candidates for tickets for the assembly elections in Rajasthan. The names of
the candidates are being announced. Meanwhile, on Thursday, the third list of 19 congress candidates was
released. In the third list, candidates were declared for two seats of Pali division. Former head of Revdar Moti Ram
Koli has been given ticket from sc seat of Revdar. Expressing confidence in madan Prajapat, the sitting MLA
from Pachpadra assembly seat of Balotra, he has been fielded again.
The party expressed confidence in madan Prajapat, congress MLA from Pachpadra, Balotra. Once again he has
made his candidate for the assembly elections. Along with this, supporters of madan Prajapat celebrated after the
announcement of the ticket. Let us tell you that for the first time in 2008, congress party gave ticket to Madan
Prajapat. madan Prajapat had won in that election. madan Prajapat was defeated in the 2013 assembly elections,
then in 2018 he was once again made the congress candidate and won.
Had taken a vow not to make Balotra a district
Madan Prajapat remained in the headlines many times during his tenure. Especially regarding the demand of
making Balotra a district, he had vowed that he would not wear shoes until Balotra was made a district. After
taking off his shoes outside the assembly, he was also seen barefoot in rahul Gandhi's Bharat Jodo Yatra. During
the announcement of the last budget of his tenure by chief minister Ashok Gehlot, many districts including
Balotra were formed in the state, after which madan Prajapat wore shoes on his feet.
