If the tamil Nadu government had taken appropriate measures at that time, the situation would not have happened to the extent that policeman Raghupathi was assaulted by North State workers in Ampathur and was treated at Avadi Hospital. The indifference of the tamil Nadu government, which does not stop the crimes of the northerners in tamil Nadu, is highly condemnable.

In the past few years, the number of people from northern states coming to tamil Nadu in search of employment has been increasing by several lakhs. The predominance of people from northern states, which started increasing in metropolitan cities like Chennai, Trichy, madurai and Tirupur, is now increasing uncontrollably in the secondary cities of tamil Nadu. Due to this, the employment of Tamils, who are the caretakers of the soil, is affected and the economy is greatly affected. Moreover, the number of people from northern states who come to work in this way get family card, voter card, residence proof etc. and settle permanently in tamil Nadu within the next few months. As a result, tamil Nadu is slowly becoming a land where Tamils are losing their power and becoming Aethilis.

Apart from that, northerners are involved in violent activities such as murder, robbery, drug trafficking, sexual violence, and cases of gang-related damage to public property have been increasing in recent times. Due to this, there is a brutal environment in tamil Nadu where people live with great fear. After the DMK came to power, the negligence of the tamil Nadu government, which failed to prevent such crimes which increased day by day, is the main reason for the breakdown of law and order to the point of indiscriminately attacking the police. Therefore, tamil Nadu government should wake up to this and enact a separate law to immediately implement the Inner Line Permit (ILP) system to record the number of foreign nationals coming to work in tamil Nadu, their company, duration, place of stay and their own address.
