What plan does the opposition have to counter Kamandal?

The foundation against Kamandal has been laid by the opposition front. This indicates that the politics of religion have been severed through the deployment of the caste weapon. It began in bihar, where a recent caste survey was carried out. With the aid of caste censuses, the opposition parties hope to seize control in bihar, Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, rajasthan, Chhattisgarh, haryana, Karnataka, tamil Nadu, and Kerala. In each of these states, OBC castes predominate. An estimate has the OBC caste's membership at 40% of India's total population.

About 63% of people fall under the OBC group in bihar alone. There had been a census about castes in Uttar Pradesh by Thomson-Reuters. This indicates that approximately 40% of people in Uttar Pradesh are members of underprivileged groups. bihar has forty lok sabha seats, of which the opposition has seventeen. In Madhya Pradesh, where there are 29 seats, the opposition has just one seat. There isn't a single opposition member of parliament in haryana (10 seats) or rajasthan (25 seats).

A survey was carried out by CSDS and Lokniti following the 2019 lok sabha elections. The poll indicates that in 2019, 44% of OBCs supported the bjp, while 10% of OBC castes supported the BJP's allies. Only 7% of OBCs supported congress, compared to 15% of OBCs who voted in favor of congress and its allies. As per the survey, BSP received five percent of the votes from the OBC category. In the conflict between Mandal and Kamandal, the BSP is not publicly supporting either side.

There are 225 lok sabha seats in the hindi heartland, the most powerful OBC voter base. In 2019, the bjp and its coalition secured 203 of these seats. Similarly, the nda had won 41 of Maharashtra's 48 seats. This time, the opposition is formulating a plan to use the OBC card to throw off the equation.
