Maratha Reservation: Movement on one side, resignation on other side...
Amidst the ongoing agitation regarding maratha Reservation in the state, the ruling shiv sena held a meeting
on tuesday under the chairmanship of cm Eknath Shinde. minister and shiv sena leader Udai Samant gave
information regarding the meeting. He told that shiv sena MPs and MLAs have expressed confidence and
support to cm Eknath Shinde for giving reservation to maratha community.
Samant said that cm Eknath Shinde has also appealed to the MPs and MLAs not to offer resignation on the
issue of maratha reservation. Also, in the all-party meeting to be held tomorrow (November 1), shiv sena will
appeal to keep politics away from the issue of maratha reservation. We are also appealing to the protesters not
to indulge in violence and not to burn the houses of public representatives. The government will take strict
action against the criminals involved in violence in the name of maratha reservation protest.

party shiv sena held an important meeting of all the MPs and MLAs at its official residence in Varsha. Let us

regarding issuing Maratha-Kunbi caste certificates. At the same time, cm Shinde has called an all-party

demand is not met tomorrow, he will stop drinking water. On the other hand, two MPs and one mla of
Shinde faction's shiv sena have resigned over the demand for reservation. shiv sena MPs hemant Godse and
hemant Patil, who are considered loyal to Eknath Shinde, have resigned.
