PM Modi carrying Ram Lalla idol to new Ayodhya temple..!?
In this situation, during the opening ceremony of the ram temple, there are reports that prime minister Modi will carry the idol of Lord ram from the temporary location to the new temple. During the Kumbabhishekam of the ram temple in ayodhya on january 22, prime minister Narendra Modi will walk a distance of more than 500 meters, breaking protocol. At that time, informed sources say that the temple trust management is expected to hand over the prestigious task of moving the idol of Lord Rama from its current location to prime minister Modi.
It is said that chief minister Yogi Adityanath will also walk with the Prime Minister. Important dignitaries including RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat will attend the event. The main puja will be held from 11.30 am to 12.30 pm, led by prime minister Modi as 'Yajman' (organization of Hindu religious ceremony) while the 'Pran Pratishtai' (religious rites performed before opening the eyes of the statue for the first time) will take place.
Prominent priests from different parts of the country will participate in the Kumbabhishek ceremony. After the puja, the idol of 'Sal Murthy' (worshipped in the existing temporary temple) will be placed in the sanctum sanctorum in the new temple, while one of the three five-foot idols currently carved as the resident deity (Achal Murthy) will be placed in the sanctum sanctorum.
Three sculptors were commissioned by the temple trust to create three different idols of baby Rama. Of which, the trust is yet to decide which idol will be kept as the main deity in the sanctum sanctorum. But reports suggest that one of the two idols, carved from fine quality marble in rajasthan or dark colored granite in Karnataka, is placed in Garbhagraha. Sources say that an official announcement will be made later. During the Kumbabhishek ceremony, which begins the day after Makara sankranti next year, the new idol will be bathed with water from the sarayu and other holy rivers and symbolically transported into the city of Ayodhya.
