The party office of Uttar Pradesh congress located at Mall Avenue has started looking buzzing since
last few days. Leaders of different parties are showing interest in joining Congress. On Sunday,
hundreds of leaders including Bahujan Samaj party founding member and BSP government minister
Rajbahadur Singh, retired IPS Umesh Kumar Singh, Yogendra Yadav, who contested assembly
elections from Azamgarh on Janata Dal U ticket, joined hands with the congress party. Today, former
Samajwadi party MP ravi Prakash Verma, former Kheri candidate Dr Purvi Verma, 9 district panchayat
members, four block chiefs and hundreds of leaders of Samajwadi party and Peace party are joining the
congress Party.
While talking, congress party President ajay Rai said that only congress has the capability to
overthrow the bharatiya janata party government and the public is confident that congress is the only
party which can save the people from the misrule of BJP. Can provide relief. ajay Rai said that many
people are continuously taking membership of congress after being influenced by its policies. He also
said that this time in the lok sabha elections, congress will form the government at the Center after
securing a huge victory in Uttar Pradesh.
ravi Prakash Verma had met Kharge with his daughter in Delhi.
After resigning from Samajwadi party four days ago, discussions started about ravi Prakash Verma
joining Congress. Yesterday on Sunday, ravi Prakash Verma along with his daughter had also met
congress party National President mallikarjun Kharge in delhi and today he is joining the Congress
party in Lucknow, the capital of UP. With ravi Prakash Verma joining congress, congress party can
get a big benefit of Kurmi vote bank in four lok sabha seats including Lakhimpur.
