Voting was held on 20 assembly seats of chhattisgarh on Tuesday. Voting started on some seats here at 8

am and on some seats at 7 am. According to the information received from the election Commission, the

total voting figure till 3 pm was 59.19 percent, in which the highest turnout was in Mohalla Manpur and the

least in Bijapur. Let us tell you that 12 out of 20 assembly constituencies are Naxal affected where there

have been reports of encounters between Naxalites and security personnel at some places. Let us know in

According to the election Commission, 68 percent voting took place in Kanker. Apart from this, 69.03

percent voting took place in Kondagaon, 51.90 percent in Dantewada, 53.55 percent in Narayanpur, 65.20

percent in Bastar, 30 percent in Bijapur, 50.12 percent in Sukma, 56.90 percent in Chitrakote, 60.11 percent

in Keshkal and 65.67 percent in Antagarh. Encounters have also taken place between security personnel and

Naxalites in Sukma, Kanker and Narayanpur in which some soldiers have been injured and some Naxalites

have been killed.

62 percent voting on Raman Singh's seat

Voting was 60.75 percent in Jagdalpur, 68.50 percent in Bhanupratappur, 61.20 percent in Dongargarh,

67.07 percent in Khujji, 64.48 percent in Khairagarh, 60.40 percent in Pandariya, 73 percent in Mohla

Manpur, 62 percent in Rajnandgaon and 41.67 percent in Kawardha. Let us tell you that former cm Raman

Singh is contesting elections from Rajnandgaon. It was decided to conduct voting on 10 seats in the state

from 8 am to 5 pm and on 10 seats from 7 am to 3 pm.

Battle of veterans on these four seats

In the first phase, the fate of four stalwarts of congress and bjp is to be decided. raman singh is contesting

from Rajnandgaon while congress leader Mohan Markam is contesting from Kondagaon. Mohammad

Akbar is trying his luck on Kawardha seat, who has also been a minister earlier. Apart from this, Chitrakote

is a hot seat from where congress has given ticket to state president deepak Baij.
