Reports have surdata-faced that party leadership has given diwali bonuses to DMK executives. Parliamentary elections are due next year. DMK chief and chief minister Stalin has said that he should win 40 constituencies in tamil Nadu and puducherry in this election. In the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, the DMK alliance won 39 seats without being in power. Being in power this time, Stalin's intention is to win 40 out of 40. Therefore, DMK has already started the election work. However, if chief minister Stalin is to achieve the success he envisioned, the cooperation of party leaders and volunteers is very important. According to the information, diwali prizes ranging from Rs. 5 thousand to Rs. 1.50 lakh have been fixed for district administrators, executive committee members, union secretaries, city secretaries, municipal secretaries, ward secretaries, union administrators, polling committee.It seems that along with the amount given by the party leadership, the party leadership has also instructed the respective district ministers to contribute a specific amount from their own hands. However, there are reports that the district secretaries in some districts are giving an amount instead of the ministers as they have to spend for the parliamentary elections.
