Madikeri mla Dr. Mantar Gowda inaugurated the new office of district AYUSH Department at Mahadeva town of madikeri city on Friday. 35 lakhs of Rs. The mla inaugurated the cost-constructed building. Later speaking at a program organized by the district Administration, Zilla panchayat and AYUSH Department on the occasion of the 8th National ayurveda Day, mla Dr. Mantar Gowda said that Ayurvedic medicine has its own importance and we should focus on strengthening it. There are many vacancies in the Ayush department and action will be taken to fill up Ayurvedic doctors. Also, efforts will be made to provide necessary basic facilities to Ayurvedic hospitals, he said.
