Delhi air quality marginally improves, rain unlikely today

The central pollution control board (CPCB) said that while the general quality of the air in delhi improved somewhat on saturday, it was still classified as "poor." After a nighttime downpour the day before, the air Quality Index (AQI) on saturday was 279, which is in the 'bad' category.
The AQI was 282 at anand Vihar, one of the most polluted areas of the national capital, and 220 at rk Puram. On saturday morning, punjabi Bagh recorded an AQI of 236 and an ITO of 263. On Wednesday, the city's AQI was 426, and on Thursday, it was 437. An AQI between zero and 50 is considered 'good', 51 and 100 'satisfactory', 101 and 200 'moderate', 201 and 300 'poor', 301 and 400 'very poor', and 401 and 500 'severe'. Anything above 500 is considered to be in the 'severe plus.' category.

The india Meteorological Department (IMD) states that there is not expected to be any rain in delhi today. According to the Met Department, there will be some cloud cover and some fog in the sky in the morning. The minimum temperature is expected to settle at 14 degrees Celsius while the maximum is predicted to reach 27 degrees today
