AAP accuses BJP of insulting campaign against Kejriwal, will complain to EC

There is a lot of politics going on these days between aam aadmi party (AAP) and bjp in Delhi. Along with

AAP, bjp leaders are attacking chief minister arvind kejriwal and his government. Meanwhile, AAP has now

made a big allegation against BJP. On wednesday, AAP rajya sabha mp Raghav Chadha said in a press

conference that bjp has been running a misleading and derogatory social media campaign against Chief

minister arvind kejriwal for the last few days.

Raghav Chadha said, bjp is trying to tarnish the reputation and image of cm kejriwal through social media.

He said that aam aadmi party will complain about this to the election Commission. Chadha further said that

AAP has sought time from the election Commission. Through a letter, AAP has asked the election Commission

to give time on wednesday or Thursday. He said that the party delegation will meet the election Commission.

Raghav Chadha expressed this hope

The AAP mp said that the party's delegation will systematically explain to the election commission how the

bjp is conspiring to tarnish the image of chief minister arvind kejriwal through its social media. Raghav

Chadha said that we hope that the election commission will give time and take action in this matter.

election commission has issued notice to AAP

Let us inform that earlier on Tuesday, the election commission issued a show cause notice to the Aam Aadmi

party for the alleged derogatory comments made against prime minister Narendra Modi on its social media

handle and asked it to respond to the allegation of violation of the Model Code of Conduct by Thursday. Issuing

notice to AAP national convenor arvind kejriwal, the election commission said, Whereas, Aam Aadmi Party

is a registered political party and is classified as a recognized national party. On november 10, 2023, A

complaint was received from bjp representatives. It has been alleged that two recent tweets from the official

handle of X have portrayed prime minister Narendra Modi and BJP's star campaigner in a derogatory manner.
