awaited. The code of conduct is still in force in the state. However, in the meantime, the Election

Commission has given great relief to the government employees of the state. The election commission has

approved increasing the dearness allowance of employees. Now after the order of the state government, the

dearness allowance (DA) of all the government employees of the state will increase by four percent. In

Chhattisgarh, currently 42 percent dearness allowance is being given to the employees.

At the same time, the Center gives 46 percent dearness allowance to the employees. After this decision of the

Election Commission, like the Centre, the state government will give 46 percent dearness allowance to its

employees. Former cm of the state raman singh has also expressed happiness over this decision of the

November 2, former cm raman singh had also demanded increase in DA of the state employees and had

requested the chhattisgarh election commission in this matter.
