Rajasthan Election: Congress leader’s driver detained by police
A complaint was received about stopping people from Dalit community from voting in Sundarawali village of
Bharatpur nagar assembly seat. After the information, the officers reached the spot and pacified the matter.
Within no time the matter escalated so much that Sajid’s supporters pelted stones at the security personnel. After
which BSF soldiers opened fire in the air for security. Hearing the sound of aerial fire, other security personnel
deployed there reached the spot. The security personnel resorted to lathi charge to disperse the crowd, after which
Sajid Khan’s supporters fled from the spot. After this incident, voting was stopped at the booth for about 45
minutes. police took Sajid Khan’s driver into custody. On receiving information about this incident, SP Mridul
Kachhawa also reached the spot.
Uproar at polling station in Suketi too
Similarly, there was a ruckus at the polling booth in Suketi village of the city assembly constituency. According
to reports, a person jumped from the wall and entered inside the booth in Suketi village and started beating the
congress workers at the booth. In which three workers were injured. During this, there was a stampede in the
polling booth. people who came to vote started running here and there in the booth. About five people were
injured in this incident. Due to the uproar, voting had to be stopped at the polling station for about half an hour.
It has been told that there was a huge uproar in the government Primary school of Suketi village of Nagar
assembly constituency of Bharatpur district. In the polling booth built in the school of Suketi village, a person
named Latif jumped over the wall and entered inside the polling booth and started fighting with the Congress
workers standing inside the polling booth. Three congress workers were injured in this. Meanwhile, Latif entered
inside the polling booth and dropped the VVPAT machine from the table. Some associates of the accused were
already present inside the polling booth. people divided into two groups inside the polling station.
