Rajasthan Election: Voting took place peacefully in Bharatpur

In the voting held for rajasthan assembly elections 2023, great enthusiasm was seen everywhere among the

elderly, women and youth regarding the great festival of democracy. In such a situation, long queues of voters

were seen at the polling stations in Bharatpur since saturday morning. This time, voters came dressed up to vote

at the model polling centres, pink booths, women, disabled and youth managed centers set up by the district

administration.

There was a lot of enthusiasm among the people regarding voting for the assembly elections. Enthusiasm was

seen among the elderly women, youth as well as the groom and the wedding procession to cast their vote in the


great festival of democracy. Voters started arriving at the polling stations with enthusiasm since morning. As the

sun set, a large number of voters were seen waiting for their turn at the polling stations.

80-90 year old voters reached the booth

In the assembly elections, elderly women and men above 80 years of age reached the booth to vote. Although,

this time the election commission had made arrangements for voters above 80 years of age and more than 40

percent disabled people to cast their vote at their homes, but elderly men and women said that it is better to vote at

the booth itself. An elderly couple of more than 90 years had come to cast their vote at booth number 068 located

at Pakka Bagh in Bharatpur. Also there was an elderly person who was 97 years old. After voting, these elders

happily posed for selfies.
