Meet Arnold Dix - The Tunneling Expert who helped India in Rescue Mission
Earlier today, the Australian specialist said he felt pleased amid news that the rescue mission was approaching conclusion, with rat-hole mining professionals digging through the final few metres of rubble. The evacuation of all 41 workers concludes the rescue operation. "The mountain has told us one thing, and that is to be humble," Dix said this morning to reporters.
The tunnelling specialist holds a Science and Law degree from Monash university in melbourne and is described as a 'accomplished lawyer' on his website.
"It is the uncertainty the future brings, and the illusion of the wisdom of hindsight, that drives professor Dix's focused legal or scientific or engineering approach," according to the opening sentence of arnolddix.com.
Arnold Dix has played several roles in his three-decade career, the most of which have been with subterranean safety. According to his LinkedIn page, he also volunteered with the qatar Red Crescent Society (QRCS) from 2016 until 2009, where he helped "develop response sweetness for underground incidents."
According to his website, Arnold Dix will launch Underground Works Chambers with Lord Robert Mair and Peter Vickery QC in 2020. He delivers technological and regulatory solutions to challenging, unique, and mission-critical subterranean space concerns.
