In September, Anju's husband Nasrullah had said that his wife was "mentally disturbed. She is in great need of seeing her children in India. Hailing from Rajasthan's Bhiwadi district, Anju traveled to Pakistan's northwestern khyber pakhtunkhwa province to meet a man she had befriended on data-facebook and fell in love with. Anju had traveled, telling her husband Arvind that she would go to jaipur for a few days. However, her husband came to know that she had crossed the data-border through the media.
Talking about this, Arvind said that his wife is in touch with him through WhatsApp. However, Anju called Arvind at around 4 pm on the day she left for Lahore and told her that she was in Lahore and would be back in two or three days. When asked about Anju's lover in pakistan, Arvind says he knows about her relationship and hopes that his wife will come back to him one day. Anju, who has two children, is married to Arvind after converting to Christianity.
