These candidates who rebelled against BJP achieved big victory

A total of eight independent candidates, including four rebels of the bharatiya janata party (BJP), have won the

Rajasthan assembly elections. bjp rebel Chandrabhan Akya has won as an independent candidate from

Chittorgarh seat. bjp had fielded Akya’s ticket from Chittorgarh and made Narpat Singh Rajvi, son-in-law of

former Vice President Bhairon Singh Shekhawat, its candidate. Akya, the sitting mla from Chittorgarh, defeated

nearest rival Surendra Singh of congress by a margin of 6,823 votes. Rajvi, a five-time mla, stood third.

Ravindra Singh Bhati won from Shiv seat.

BJP had sent Rajvi to Chittorgarh instead of his Vidyadhar nagar seat. The party had fielded mp Diya Kumari

from Vidyadhar nagar seat. bjp rebel ravindra Singh Bhati won the Shiv assembly seat by defeating Congress

rebel and independent candidate Fateh Khan by a margin of 3,950 votes. congress candidate and sitting MLA

Amin Khan stood third. BJP's Swaroop Singh Khara stood fourth in Shiv. Similarly, former minister Yunus Khan

won the Didwana seat by 92,392 votes. Here congress candidate chetan Singh Choudhary stood second and BJP's

Jitendra Singh stood third. Yunus Khan is considered close to former chief minister Vasundhara Raje. Raje has

won from Jhalrapatan seat.

BJP rebel Ritu Banawat won with gusto

Another bjp rebel Ritu Banawat won the Bayana seat by a margin of 40,642 votes. Here congress candidate Amar

Singh stood second and BJP's Bachchu Singh stood third. Independent candidate Jeevaram Chaudhary won the

Sanchore seat. bjp did not give him the ticket and fielded Jalore mp Devji Patel, who finished third.
