Karni Sena’s national president Sukhdev Singh Gogamedi has been shot dead in rajasthan yesterday. Rohit Godara
gang has taken responsibility for the murder. This murder has created a stir in the state. Statements of leaders are
coming out one after the other on this. congress leaders have started targeting bjp regarding this. Congress
leaders have demanded arrest of the murder accused as soon as possible. Union minister Gajendra Singh
Shekhawat’s statement has come out on this, he said that the first priority of the bjp government to be formed in
the state will be to make the state crime free.
The relative said- there was a possibility of attack
The footage of the incident has been captured in CCTV cameras. A relative of Gogamedi told reporters outside
the hospital that he had been threatened earlier and feared an attack. He said that the police was also informed
about the threat. The relative said the attackers went to their house and told the security guard that they wanted to
meet Sukhdev Gogamedi. He took them to the drawing room where he opened fire. He said that Gogamedi had
been receiving threats for a long time. police should arrest the accused as soon as possible. Following differences
with Karni Sena founder and patron Lokendra Singh Kalvi, Gogamedi broke away from Shri Rajput Karni Sena
in 2015 and formed Shri Rashtriya Rajput Karni Sena. Both these organizations had opposed the film Padmavat
for alleged tampering with historical facts in the context of the Rajput community.
