Photos taken by Aditya-L1..! ISRO's biggest achievement..!!
ISRO has launched a mission called "Aditya L1" at this speed. isro has embarked on this mission to unravel the mystery of the sun, which has become useless to man for ages. ISRO's Aditya L1 spacecraft is speeding towards the designated path. Its state-of-the-art Solar Ultraviolet Imaging Telescope (SUIT) has successfully imaged the Sun's ultraviolet wavelengths, achieving a rare milestone.
Aditya L1 achieved this feat in the 200-400 nm wavelength range, a critical spectrum for understanding the Sun's photosphere and chromosphere. After a pre-commissioning phase, the SUIT device was activated (powered up) on 30 November. It captured its first optical science images on december 6. These images, obtained using 11 different filters, represent a significant advance in solar observation. These photographs illustrate the complex features of the Sun. These images reveal important solar features such as sunspots, spots and quiescent solar systems.
These are important for understanding the dynamic interaction of the magnetized solar atmosphere and the effect of solar radiation on Earth's atmosphere. SUIT is the result of an effort by scientists led by the Inter-University Center for Astronomy and Astrophysics (IUCAA), Pune.
ISRO, Manipal Academy of Higher Education, IISER, India's Center of Excellence for Space Science (SESSI) in Kolkata, indian Institute of Astrophysics Bangalore, udaipur Solar Observatory (USO PRL) and Tezpur university share the back of its development. The success of the SUIT payload on Aditya L1 marks a new era in solar science. It provides scientists with valuable data to study the impact of the sun on Earth. and improves understanding of solar dynamics.
