According to sources the third telangana assembly Session began with new legislators taking oath alongside AIMIM member akbaruddin owaisi in Chair as Pro-tem Speaker as chief minister Reventh reddy allocated portfolios to his cabinet colleagues. The oath-taking ceremony began with cm revanth reddy and deputy cm Mallu bhatti vikramarka followed by ministers and MLAs.Meanwhile BRS member ktr didn’t attend the first session because of his father former chief minister K chandrasekhar Rao aka KCR’s surgery. He requested the assembly Secretary to allot him another day to take oath. On the other hand, telangana bjp president and Union minister Kishan reddy alleged that Akbaruddin was made Pro-tem Speaker by rejecting the Senior members of the house. The bjp MLAs didn’t attend the assembly proceedings on the very first day as a mark of protest.Moreover reddy also made it clear that the newly elected bjp MLAs will take oath in the presence of a regular speaker to the assembly instead of the Pro-tem Speaker. Earlier in the day, chief minister revanth reddy made an announcement on the allocation of portfolios to his cabinet colleagues after lengthy discussions with AICC president mallikarjun Kharge, senior leader Rahul gandhi and party general secretary KC Venugopal at New delhi on Friday.CM revanth reddy holds portfolios including Municipal Administration & Urban Development (MA&UD), General Administration, and Law & Order apart from the other unallocated ones with him.
