Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai..!?
Vishnu Deo Sai, 59, won the Gunguri constituency in North chhattisgarh in the recently concluded assembly elections. vishnu Deo Sai belonged to the Sahu tribal community with considerable influence in Sai Durg, raipur and bilaspur areas. In the recently concluded elections, bjp won 54 of the total 90 constituencies in the state. In 2018, congress won only 35 seats, winning 68 seats. The Gondwana Kanthandra party (GGP) won one seat.
In chhattisgarh, it was speculated that if Raman Singh, the party chief, is not re-elected as chief minister, then an OBC or tribal member may be selected for the post of Chief Minister. In this case, vishnu Deo Sai, who belongs to the tribal community, has been announced.
Vishnu Deo Sai has a long political experience and is a successful member of legislative assembly and Lok Sabha. He has also served as Union Joint minister from 2014 to 2019. He has also held many responsibilities in the party including human leader.
