After the lapse in security of parliament, now UP Vidhan Bhavan is also reviewing its security afresh. The lapse

regarding security in parliament in delhi was done through visitor pass. Both the youth had reached there through

the pass given by the MP. After this, in UP assembly too, the passes made for people to reach the house will now

be made only after investigation.

However, to ensure security arrangements, the system of making visitor passes will remain in place and visitor

passes will be made after thorough investigation. UP assembly Speaker Satish Mahana told ABP Live that

extensive security arrangements had already been made to prevent the entry of unauthorized people into the

Vidhan Bhavan. Our security system is stronger than before and we keep upgrading it continuously. We also have

adequate security personnel. We also have modern equipment like scanners and metal detectors.

Security of UP assembly also increased

The Speaker said that only those vehicles can enter Vidhan Bhawan which have the assembly pass and the vehicles

are also sent inside only after thorough checking. However, he said that no separate ban of any kind will be

imposed. Everything will continue as normal, but the security cordon will be increased so that people can come

inside only after adequate investigation.

Satish Mahana said that the security of the house is very important and whatever needs to be done for its security

will definitely be done. Satish Mahana said that he has seen the parliament and legislative buildings of more than

25 countries and there too there is no restriction on the movement of visitors. Visitors can come but it is our duty

to ensure that they come after proper investigation and we will do that.
