Bharatiya Janata party has got absolute majority in the assembly elections 2023 in Rajasthan. Bhajanlal Sharma,

resident of Attari village of Nadbai assembly constituency of Bharatpur district, has become the new Chief

Minister of Rajasthan. The people of Bharatpur have a lot of expectations from chief minister Bhajanlal Sharma.

Because Bharatpur of Eastern rajasthan has always been treated step-by-step. Now Bharatpur resident Bhajanlal

Sharma has been made the chief minister in the bharatiya janata party government, so there is a hope among the

people of Bharatpur that now Bharatpur will also develop.

There is shortage of water for irrigation in Bharatpur district, which is called the eastern gate of Rajasthan.

Farmers do their farming only with the help of rain, if there is no rain then the farmers fields remain barren. Due

to saline ground water in Bharatpur district, farmers cannot use ground water for irrigation of their crops. In the

year 2018, prime minister Narendra Modi had promised to declare ERCP as a national project, but after the

formation of congress government in the state, prime minister Narendra Modi has not yet been able to declare

ERCP as a national project. It also remains to be seen whether chief minister Bhajan Lal Sharma will be able to

declare ERCP as a national project for the 13 districts of Eastern Rajasthan.

Bharatpur district of eastern rajasthan shares its data-border with agra and mathura districts of Uttar Pradesh. Taj

Trapezium area has been declared for the security of taj mahal in Agra. Bharatpur also comes in TTZ and there

is also Keoladeo National Park, the city of birds, in Bharatpur. There is no means of employment here. There is

no factory in Bharatpur. The youth of Bharatpur either go to delhi or haryana for employment. Now the people

of Bharatpur are also expecting the chief minister to provide employment opportunities.
