The government has banned the sale of meat and fish in the open market in Madhya Pradesh. The process ofaction against shops operating against rules is continuing. In such a situation, the chief minister of the state, Dr.Mohan Yadav has given instructions to create separate markets for the sale of meat and fish in urban bodies.Chief minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has told the Urban Development and Housing Department that the stategovernment has imposed a ban on open sale of meat and fish. To ensure that their vendors do not data-face anyproblem, urban bodies should necessarily construct buildings for the meat-fish market. Until the buildings areconstructed, a place for selling meat and fish should be earmarked and arrangements for temporary shedsshould be ensured immediately. This facility should be made available in urban bodies as well as big ruralpanchayats.CM Yadav said that to ensure that the water of Kanh River reaches Kshipra River only after purification,necessary plants should be set up using latest technology. In this regard, instructions were also given toimmediately organize a joint meeting of the Water Resources and Urban Development and HousingDepartments.The chief minister has said that the rules and procedures of building permission and compounding should besimplified. The rules should be clear and simple, which the common man can easily understand and he shouldnot data-face any problem. A common person builds a house once in his life, the arrangements for buildingpermission etc. should be made in such a way that he does not get troubled and the work is done within thestipulated time. Arrangements for quick passing of maps from urban bodies should be ensured. Assess thesoftware related to building permits and find out how many days, on an average, building permits are beingissued at present.
