Ram Mandir: Kharge and Sonia Gandhi received invitation
Congress President mallikarjun Kharge, sonia gandhi and party leader in lok sabha elections Adhir Ranjan
Choudhary have been invited for the consecration ceremony of ram temple to be held in ayodhya on January
22. Earlier, invitations have been sent to veterans in different areas of the country.
Sources said that Shri ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust has sent them an invitation but these senior
Congress leaders are not likely to attend the function. He said that personal invitations have been sent to Kharge,
Gandhi and Chaudhary and former Prime Ministers manmohan singh and HD Deve Gowda have also been
invited for the function.
Invitation to other opposition leaders also
Sources said that a delegation of people associated with the trust gave these invitations and invitations are likely
to be sent to other opposition leaders also in the coming days. The Trust said that apart from the revered saints of
different traditions, invitations have been extended to all the prominent persons who have brought glory to the
country in different fields. The Trust has said that a tent city has been set up in the new Tirtha Kshetra Puram
(Bagh Bijaisi) in which six tube wells, six kitchens and a hospital with 10 beds have been built. About 150
doctors from across the country have agreed to provide their services in this hospital on rotation basis. The trust
has said that around 4,000 saints from different sects have been invited to participate in the ceremony.
