nakul Nathankul, congress MP from Chhindwara and son of former chief minister Kamal Nath, was suspended from the lok sabha on Thursday. Till now, a total of 146 MPs have been suspended from the Lok Sabha. Three MPs have been suspended from the lok sabha on Thursday.
lok sabha Speaker has suspended congress MPs and Kamal Nath's son nakul Nath, DK suresh and deepak Baij from the ongoing winter session for contempt of the House. With this the total number of MPs suspended from lok sabha has increased to 146.

The opposition had raised the demand for a statement from home minister amit shah regarding the breach in the security of Parliament. A case of lapse in security of parliament came to light in the afternoon of 13 December. congress leader Digvijay Singh's statement has come out on this issue. Opposition MPs took out a march from parliament house on thursday protesting against the suspension of members from both the Houses. Under the leadership of leader of Opposition in rajya sabha Mallikarjun Kharge, opposition MPs marched on foot from parliament house to Vijay Chowk. Opposition MPs were carrying a big banner on which 'Save Democracy' was written.
Kharge claimed that prime minister Narendra Modi and home minister amit shah were speaking outside the house on Parliament-related issues, which amounts to breach of privilege. He told reporters, "The government and Modi ji do not want the house to function." Kharge said, "We wanted to raise the issue in the lok sabha regarding the incident of breach in the security of the parliament, why it happened, how it happened. And who is responsible for this? We wanted the government to tell the house about this. Both the prime minister and the home minister did not come to the House. They are saying outside the things which have to be said in the House.
