Why CM Revanth Reddy enquired about Telangana as per Partition Act?
Reportedly cm revanth reddy, who is on a visit to Delhi, discussed with telangana Bhavan Resident Commissioner Gaurav uppal and telangana Bhavan OSD Sanjay Jaju on Telangana's share in common assets and construction of new buildings. After taking the reins as telangana chief minister, revanth reddy increased his aggression. He has already prepared his team to put his regime in the groove. The chief minister inquired about the total area of telangana Bhavan, its buildings, their condition and the share due to telangana as per Partition Act.
The officials explained to the cm that there is a total of 19.78 acres of land. Officials explained to revanth reddy that Sabari Block, Internal Roads, Godavari Block, Nursing Hostels and Pataudi house are coming up in the 8.781 acres of Common Bhavan. According to the Partition Act, telangana will get 8.245 acres and ap will get 11.536 acres. However, the officials explained that the buildings have reached a dilapidated state after nearly 40 years. Responding to this, cm revanth reddy ordered to prepare plans to construct a new building. chief minister revanth reddy suggested to focus first on the assets between the two states.
However, when the BRS government was in power, the center had many discussions on the division of ap Bhavan. On this occasion, the Union home Ministry proposed that the existing ap Bhavan should belong to ap and telangana should take the vacant space. 7.64 acres of Pataudi house should be given to Telangana. Sabari block, Godavari block, 12.9 acres of land with nursing hostels should be given to Andhra Pradesh. The center said that this division will be according to the population ratio between the two states. But while ap government agreed to this proposal, telangana said no. Currently, there is a possibility that the division of ap Bhavan will be completed in the background of revanth Reddy's aggression.
