On friday (December 22), the court extended the police remand of Lalit Jha, considered the mastermind in the parliament security lapse, till january 5. The Special Cell of delhi police had demanded extension of Lalit Jha's custody, after which Chief Justice Hardeep Kaur extended Jha's custody. The police said in the court that the accused is the mastermind of this entire incident and he needs to be interrogated further to reveal the entire incident. Lalit Jha was arrested by the police on 14 December.On thursday itself, the court had extended the custody of four other accused involved in this incident, Manoranjan D, Sagar Sharma, Amol Shinde and Neelam, till january 5. police said that we need to find out the real people involved in the conspiracy. We have to find out the real motive of the crime.High court decisionMeanwhile, the delhi High court on friday stayed the decision of the lower court in which the police was directed to provide a copy of the FIR to Neelam Devi, accused in the case of lapse in security of Parliament.How did the incident happen?Let us tell you that on december 13, during the winter session of parliament, these accused had breached the security. At around 1 pm in the Lok Sabha, two youths jumped from the audience gallery to the floor and spread yellow smoke from a can. At the same time, two others spread smoke from cans in the parliament complex and raised slogans. The alert security personnel there then arrested all four. So far seven people have been arrested in this case.
