On ED summons to CM Arvind, AAP - Entire case politically motivated
Aam Aadmi party gave a strong reaction to the third summons issued by ED to delhi cm Arvind Kejriwal. AAP spokesperson priyanka Kakkar said that the whole world knows that chief minister arvind kejriwal is currently in Vipassana. There is no communication with him for 10 days, there is no phone. In such a situation, to whom has the summons been sent? This again seems to be news coming from BJP. Also what has been received till date. One rupee has not been received from any of our leaders, be it Sanjay Singh, manish Sisodia or Satyendra Jain. This entire case is politically motivated.
delhi government minister Saurabh Bhardwaj said that the new summons sent by ED to chief minister arvind kejriwal seems to be more of a political show-off by the Center than a legal process. Despite the second summons issued by ED, cm kejriwal did not appear before the investigating agency on Thursday. But a day after this, on Friday, a new notice was issued to him in the delhi Liquor Policy case, in which he has been asked to appear before the ED on january 3.
In a post on social media platform 'X', Saurabh Bhardwaj said, 'Everyone knows that chief minister arvind kejriwal is in Vipassana. ED also knows very well that he (Kejriwal) cannot be summoned because he is in Vipassana for 10 days and during this time he has no means of communication.
The AAP leader said, "This summon seems to be more of a political showdown by the central government than a legal process." AAP's national convenor kejriwal has been summoned for the third time. He was first issued summons to appear before the ED on november 2 and then on december 21, but he refused to appear.
