Reportedly telangana chief minister A revanth reddy along with his Deputy bhatti vikramarka on tuesday met prime minister Narendra Modi in delhi and raised issues related to pending projects and dues from the Centre to the state. Post the meeting, deputy cm Bhatti, while addressing the media said they urged the prime minister to accord national status to the palamuru Rangareddy Project per a clause in the andhra pradesh state re-organization act. He further highlighted that the polavaram project in andhra pradesh was also accorded national status as per the said clause.

“We got separate statehood after a huge struggle. There are many promises which were made during the state division, which are still pending. We have requested the prime minister to resolve it. The previous government failed to put pressure on the union government,” Mallu bhatti vikramarka said. telangana cm and his Deputy also requested the prime minister to release the pending grants worth Rs 1,800 crore for the years 2019-20, 2021-22, 2022-23 and 2023-24 according to the act.
