900 people guilty in Senthil Balaji case..!?
The Central Crime Branch informed the court that 900 people have been made guilty in the Senthil balaji fraud case. In 2014, when Senthil balaji was serving as the transport minister in the AIADMK regime, there was a complaint that he was involved in fraud by claiming to get a job in the transport sector. In July 2021, the chennai High court canceled the case against Senthil balaji and others in this regard. After hearing the appeals filed against this, the supreme court quashed the order of the chennai High court and ordered a full investigation in this case from the beginning in september 2022.
However, a contempt of court case was filed in the supreme court alleging that the concerned Central Crime Branch police officers failed to implement the supreme Court's order. In august last year, the supreme court, which heard the matter, ordered the chennai Central Crime Branch police to complete the Senthil balaji case by september 30.
Accordingly, they filed an additional chargesheet against Senthil balaji in the special court that hears cases against MPs and MLAs in chennai District Collectorate last September.
