Reportedly aam aadmi party (AAP) is busy expanding its foothold in Haryana. On the other hand, AAP may face another big setback before the lok sabha elections. Because, recently AAP's haryana unit vice president Chitra Sarwara had joined congress along with her father Nirmal Singh. If media reports are to be believed, now discussions about party campaign committee chairman and former mp ashok Tanwar leaving the party have intensified. It is being told that ashok Tanwar has met chief minister Manohar Lal Khattar in a hotel in Delhi. However, no statement has come from ashok Tanwar yet.

Meanwhile ashok Tanwar was considered a veteran leader of haryana Congress. In 2003, Tanwar has also been the National President and youth President of NSUI. He also became lok sabha mp from Sirsa in 2009. After this, he was the congress President from 2014 to september 2019. But, in 2019, angry with his supporters being denied tickets, ashok Tanwar left the party. After leaving congress, ashok Tanwar formed his own party, but could not do anything special, so he joined trinamool congress (TMC).

After becoming disillusioned with TMC within a year, ashok Tanwar joined aam aadmi party on 4 april 2022. Now it is being said that he is also disillusioned with you. There is talk that ashok Tanwar wanted to go to rajya sabha from AAP. The tenure of three AAP rajya sabha members is ending on january 27. But, in place of Sushil Gupta, delhi Women Commission Chairperson swati Maliwal has been made the rajya sabha candidate. Because of this, ashok Tanwar is said to be angry with the party.
