'Shri Ram saved our clan', Havan-worship of Saraswat Samaj
In Agra, people of Saraswat community performed havan puja for the consecration of Lord Ramlala in Ayodhya. The people of Saraswat community consider themselves the descendants of Ravana and today i.e. on 18 January, the people of Saraswat community, while worshiping Lord Shri ram in the form of Ravana, congratulated Lord Shri ram for the grand temple being built in ayodhya and said that Lord ram had given salvation to our clan. Lord ram had freed us from the curse imposed on Ravana as well as our clan, hence Lord ram resides in our every pore and we Ravana descendants are very happy on the occasion of Ramlal pran Pratistha in Ayodhya. people of Saraswat community said that after a very long time Lord Shri ram is going to get his grand temple. We will also go to ayodhya and have darshan of Lord Shri Ram.
People of Saraswat community worshiped Lord Shri ram in the form of Ravana. Along with this, Ravana Swarup gave social messages. Gave messages in the form of Ravana asking people to give up drug addiction. Do not make children addicted to mobile phones, respect women and daughters, wear helmets and seat belts while driving. Along with the social message, Ravana Swarup said that we are descendants of Ravana and are giving the message to give up bad habits. Social evils should be eliminated from the country and people should be engaged in the name of God. Sanatan dharma gives this message to everyone.

People of Saraswat community, who claim themselves to be descendants of Ravana, worshiped Shri ram and started preparations to celebrate the festival on 22 January. He said that a temple of Lord Shri ram is being built in ayodhya and Ramlala is going to be seated in the grand temple. In the form of Ravana, Dr. madan Mohan Sharma (Saraswat) told that we are descendants of Ravana. Saraswat Samaj are descendants of Ravana and Lord Shri ram had saved our clan, hence we consider Lord ram as our idol.
