BJP is preparing to bet on new faces and Congress veterans in Madhya Pradesh
In Madhya Pradesh, both bharatiya janata party and congress have started preparing for the lok sabha elections. While bjp is eyeing new data-faces, congress is planning to bet on experienced and veteran leaders. There are 29 lok sabha seats in the state, out of which bjp holds 28 and congress holds one. While bjp is trying to win at all places, congress is trying to improve its position compared to the last election. The homework has already intensified to find a better candidate in both the parties.
Gathering of ground feedback for 29 seats begins
First let us talk about BJP. The party has started gathering ground feedback from all the 29 seats. Report cards of MPs are also being prepared. The party is first looking for candidates for those five seats where MPs have won the recently held assembly elections. At two places, MPs have data-faced defeat in the mla elections. The party is brainstorming what to do for these two places. Not only this, the party is not happy with the working style of half a dozen MPs. In this way, the party has almost decided to field new candidates at about a dozen places.
Talking about congress, congress has only Chhindwara parliamentary seat from where former chief minister Kamal Nath's son nakul Nath is the MP. In such a situation, the party is planning to field senior leaders. Apart from Kamal Nath, the party is preparing to bet on Digvijay Singh, former leader of opposition ajay Singh, former Union minister Arun Yadav, Kantilal Bhuria. The party is facing a crisis of good data-faces. Political analysts believe that bjp has very little chance to further increase its strength in Madhya Pradesh, whereas congress has a lot of opportunities. In such a situation, while bjp will want to maintain its strength, congress will try to increase its points. Overall, this time's lok sabha elections are going to be full of dilemma.
