AAP and Congress getting ready for Seat Sharing for 2024 Lok Sabha Elections
Reportedly the seat sharing formula has been ready between aam aadmi party (AAP) and congress (Congress) in delhi for the lok sabha elections 2024. Sources said that AAP can contest elections on 4 seats and congress on 3 seats. There was talk of seat sharing (Seat Sharing Formula) between the two parties involved in the india Alliance (I.N.D.I.A alliance) for contesting elections on seven lok sabha seats of delhi for several weeks. However, no official statement has been issued by any party on this issue yet.
Perhaps since the time of aam aadmi party joining the indian alliance, talks were going on between the two parties regarding seat sharing. Several rounds of talks took place regarding this. After this, cm arvind kejriwal also met congress President mallikarjun Kharge and rahul Gandhi. It is believed that during this time these leaders discussed about seat sharing. After this, congress and AAP also formed an alliance for the chandigarh Mayor elections.
There are seven lok sabha seats in Delhi. In the years 2014 and 2019, bharatiya janata party had won all the seats in Delhi. In the year 2019 alone, bjp got the support of more than 56 percent voters in the lok sabha elections. Five years ago, in the lok sabha elections, delhi congress had got more votes than the Aam Aadmi Party. congress was at second position after BJP. congress got the support of 22.5 percent voters in 2019. Whereas Aam Aamdi party got the support of 18.1 percent voters. Whereas in the 2014 lok sabha elections, bjp got 46.4 percent votes. aam aadmi party got 32.92 percent votes and congress got 15.15 percent votes.
