Will get benefit from PM Vishwakarma Yojana?
To provide assistance to traditional artisans and craftsmen, P.M. Vishwakarma scheme has been started. Under the scheme, a grant of Rs 15,000 will be given to purchase a tool kit. Also, a cheap loan of Rs 1 lakh will be available in the first instance and Rs 2 lakh in the second instance. Initial training will be given for 5 to 7 days and advanced training will be given for 15 days. During the training, a daily allowance of Rs 500 will also be given. You will also get a certificate after the training. The process of selection of beneficiaries for training is going on. Only one person from one family will benefit.
Under the scheme, artisans like carpenter, goldsmith, doll and toy maker, boat maker, potter, barber, gunsmith, sculptor (stone carver), garland maker (malakar), blacksmith, cobbler (cobbler)/shoe artisan, washerman, hammer, tool kit. Including builders, masons, tailors, locksmiths, basket, mat, broom makers, coir weavers and fishing net makers.
Girls will get training in tribal dominated districts
Under the Sankalp scheme in madhya pradesh, an MoU was signed between UN-Women and madhya pradesh Skill Development and Employment Generation Board for the purpose of providing technical education to girls in tribal dominated districts. Its target is that one thousand girls in 12 tribal dominated districts including Balaghat, Mandla, Dindori and Chhindwara will get employment-oriented training.
