He said that the government is uprooting people in the name of rehabilitation. Evictions were banned through law. The validity of the law is ending this year. Not even a single meeting was scheduled between 2017 and 2022. The government is not considering regularization or rehabilitation of any colony. Till date, the government has failed to get approval from the Center on the bill passed in 2021 to regularize the lease of people settled on Nazul land.
