Currently, there are nine ministers in the current nda government including cm Nitish. bjp has delayed in finalizing the list of its ministers. The budget session of bihar Legislature was also going on, hence the cabinet expansion has been delayed. According to the number of assembly members, a total of 36 ministers including the chief minister can be formed. There is vacancy for 27 ministers. It is possible that some posts may be kept vacant. In view of the lok sabha elections, caste equation will also be taken care of in the cabinet expansion.

Meanwhile Samrat Chaudhary, Vijay Sinha, prem Kumar are ministers from bjp quota. Samrat and Vijay Sinha are also deputy CMs. Both have 9-9 departments. Keeping in view the future politics, bjp can give a chance to about 40% new faces in the cabinet who are young. The remaining 60% old faces can be repeated in the cabinet from bjp quota. According to sources, this time bjp can give a chance to new faces like Shreyasi Singh, Nitish Mishra, Pawan Jaiswal, Haribhushan Thakur Bachaul. Among the old faces, Narayan Prasad, Ramsurat Rai, Nitin Naveen, Rampreet Paswan, Janak ram etc. may get a chance.

When talking about JDU, nitish kumar is the CM. He has home Department, General Administration and some other departments. Vijay Chaudhary, Vijendra Yadav, shravan Kumar are also ministers from JDU quota. Independent mla Sumit Singh is also a minister from JDU quota. According to sources, in the cabinet expansion, Nitish can repeat most of the old faces of JDU in the cabinet. Can give a chance to two new faces. Talking about new faces, Maheshwar Hazari may return to the cabinet. Damodar Rawat may also get a chance. This time, among the old faces, ashok Choudhary, Jama Khan, Lacey Singh, Jayant Raj, sunil Kumar, Ratnesh sada etc. may get a place in the cabinet.
