CM Saini orders magistrate inquiry into Rewari factory blast case
Haryana chief minister Naib Singh saini has ordered a magisterial inquiry into the boiler explosion incident at a component manufacturing company's factory in Rewari district, in which 40 employees were injured. Officials said on sunday (March 17) that the chief minister has ordered an investigation to be led by a Sub Divisional Magistrate (SDM). saini has instructed the Deputy Commissioner of Rewari to ensure the best treatment of the injured.
About 40 workers got burnt
Police said that about 40 workers got burnt due to the explosion in the boiler of 'Auto Parts' manufacturing company on saturday in the industrial area located at Dharuhera in Rewari district, who were admitted to various hospitals.
The injured are being treated
19 laborers seriously injured in the incident have been referred to PGIMS, Rohtak, while 10 injured are being treated at the Trauma Center in Rewari. Some others are being treated in private hospitals in Rewari and Dharuhera.
Injured laborers narrated their ordeal
One person was discharged from the hospital late saturday night. Injured worker Manoj Kumar told reporters that the explosion occurred when many factory workers were on duty. A doctor of the district hospital here said that the injured were given initial treatment and their condition was stable. He said that later those patients who suffered more than 50 percent burns were shifted to PGIMS Hospital in Rohtak.
