With the announcement of the dates of lok sabha elections 2024, the election commission has also become active along with the political parties. On one hand, while political parties are busy in election campaigning, on the other hand, the election commission is also taking serious note of the complaints of violation of code of conduct. The election commission has tried to connect the common people with 10 types of complaints through the C-Vigil application.

The election commission can also take police action on these complaints. According to district election Officer ujjain Neeraj Kumar Singh, the guidelines of the election commission are being completely followed during the lok sabha elections. Strict action will be taken against those who violate the rules.

Display of weapons

Actually, after the implementation of election code of conduct, weapons are deposited in police stations. Despite this, if someone displays weapons during elections or tries to influence voters through it, the election commission will take strict action in such cases.

Paid and fake news

The election commission has also issued strict guidelines regarding pet and fake news through media. Complaints about paid news and fake news will also be registered on C-Vigil app.

After the implementation of the election Code of Conduct, now no political party or candidate will be able to use posters, paintings etc. on government property without permission.
