Uttar Pradesh: MLAs Eye Parliament.!!
Presently, approximately 8 MLAs from various parties in Uttar Pradesh have thrown their hats into the lok sabha election ring. The Samajwadi party leads the pack with 5 MLAs, followed by 2 from the bjp and 1 from the RLD. The Samajwadi party has nominated its senior leader, Shivpal Yadav, for the Badaun lok sabha seat.
Currently serving as the mla from Jaswantnagar in Etawah, Shivpal Yadav's candidacy underscores the party's strategic move to secure a traditionally safe SP stronghold. Notably, the Badaun constituency boasts a significant voter base, with approximately 4 lakh Yadav and 3.5 lakh Muslim voters, both of whom traditionally data-align with the SP.
In addition to Shivpal Yadav, the Samajwadi party has fielded Ziaur rahman Burke from Sambhal, Lalji Verma from Ambedkar Nagar, Avadhesh prasad from Milkipur in Faizabad, and Ravidas Mehrotra from the lucknow seat. These mla candidates represent the party's calculated electoral maneuvers in key constituencies.
The bjp has nominated Atul Garg, mla from ghaziabad city, as its candidate for the ghaziabad parliamentary seat, replacing incumbent mp VK Singh. Additionally, Om Kumar, another bjp mla, has been fielded for the Nagina (reserved) seat.
Rashtriya Lok Dal (RLD) has thrust its mla, Chandan Chauhan, into the electoral arena as the candidate for the Bijnor lok sabha seat. Chauhan, representing the Meerapur assembly seat of Muzaffarnagar, brings his political acumen to this critical contest.
