Himachal Pradesh cm Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu on thursday alleged that rebel congress leaders are 'corrupt' and will soon go behind bars. Addressing a public meeting at Samurkalan in Una district, Sukhu said that rebel congress leaders who recently joined the bjp will create trouble there too. Expressing strong objection to the language used by Sukhu, the bjp threatened to file a defamation case against him.

Sukhu said that Congress's vivek Sharma (Vikku) is getting public support from the Kutlahar assembly seat and Satpal Raizada from the hamirpur Lok Sabha seat and appealed to the people to make both candidates victorious. Sukhu said that the corrupt will not have any say in the state and they will be out of active politics. cm Sukhu said, “We do not have money but we have honesty, morality, and people's support.”

Rebel MLAs have been sold for Rs 15 crore - cm Sukhu

CM Sukhu alleged that six congress rebels and three independent MLAs were sold for Rs 15 crore each. The cm called upon the people to teach a lesson to former local mla Davinder Kumar Bhutto and said that the bjp should also ignore him. Sukhu said, “As Kutlahar mla, Devinder had dinner with us the night before the rajya sabha elections, but in the morning he voted for the bjp candidate. It was a thankless task.”

Will the bjp file a defamation case?

On the other hand, the bjp threatened to file a defamation case against cm Sukhu for accusing him of selling out MLAs. State bjp general secretary Bihari Lal Sharma said in a video released here, “It does not suit a chief minister to make such indecent remarks and it is a reflection of his frustration and disappointment as defeat is in front of the Congress. He said that bjp and the former mla concerned will file a defamation case in this regard.
